Greetings and Salutations DIY-ers!!
I have a DIY for all you Harry Potter fans out there! This will be one of five Harry Potter potion themed DIYs. :)
For this Felix Felicis potion, here's what you need:
Elmer's Clear Glue
Corked Glass Bottles [I got mine at Hobby Lobby]
Mini Gold Star Confetti [I got mine at Michael's]
Yellow Food Coloring
E6000 glue [not pictured]
The first thing you wanna do if fill your bottle up about 3/4 of the way with your glue.
Next, add 1, yes just 1, drop of your yellow food coloring. [mine came out a little more orange than I wanted, if you want yours a little lighter, you can dip a toothpick into the dye and add teeny tiny drops at a time til you get your desired color.]
Mix your glue and dye together well, I used a wood skewer.
Next, using a piece of paper, shake out your stars. You can use as many or as little as you like. Keep on mind that your stars will sink to the bottom so, the more you use, the more visible they will be.
Fold your paper in half and funnel your start into the bottle. Fill the rest of the way up with glue and stir well.
Now, trace a line of glue around the side of the cork, right at the top.
Push the cork onto the bottle firmly, mine is almost flush with the rim of the bottle. Let the E6000 dry and set for about 10-20 minutes.
You're done! Now you have your very own liquid luck!
You can also add a label but my printer is sick right now so my little guy is gonna be label-less for a while.
Be sure to stay tuned for more exciting and crafty DIYs!!
